A New Chapter

I have exactly one year left in the service of God and country, sailing on yet another fragile edifice of relatively pointless American “hard” power, the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), which enjoys a homeport in Everett, Washington.  No longer serving overseas, it would be rather misleading for me to continue to post as “Live From The FDNF (Forward Deployed Naval Forces)”.  Hence a new blog on a more reliable and flexible platform(WordPress), defined by writing that I hope will signify a new direction.

I’ll endeavor to shed light on the range of golden opportunities, unique interface platforms and ”hidden unities” that exist throughout the world that can empower Americans of all stripes to begin to view the world not through the prism of fear but the lens of cautious optimism.  Of course few will read “Hidden Unities”, but the rich diversity of experience, specialty and perspective of my seriously intelligent readers will hopefully encourage memorable discussions that help flesh out the concepts, ideas and arguments presented here.
