Memorial Day

No matter what else happens in my life, I was a sailor for 5 years. 

Every day I served, I followed in the footsteps of sailors who had given so much to their country from the Revolutionary War to the present day.  Many of their experiences and challenges provided valuable lessons and traditions to myself and my fellow sailors. I am eternally grateful for that.

Many of the people I served with are now floating in or around the Persian Gulf.  May God be with them and their families.
